WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT?

ESD are political subdivisions established by local voters for the purpose of raising money through ad valorem taxes on all real property located within the district. The taxes support ESD services designed to protect life through the provisions of fire and emergency rescue, also EMS. ESDs are permitted to tax a maximum of 10 cents of every $100 dollars of property value.

DOES THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS?

No, this would be to much of a liability.  We don't even service ours. Fire extinguishers should be serviced annually.

WILL R.P.F.D FILL OUR SWIMMING POOL?

No, we no longer fill swimming pools because of the amount of time required to take our truck out of service.

WILL THE FIRE TRUCK COME OUT TO A COMMUNITY EVENT?

Yes, please call and give us some notice and we will try to schedule a none dedicated standby.
